LEARNING APPROACH
The Pre-CELTA course adopts a learner-centred, self-paced approach, emphasising practical application and reflective practice. Candidates engage with multimedia content, including text-based lessons, quizzes, and reflective tasks, to build theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The course encourages active learning through:
- Reflective Activities: Tasks designed to promote critical thinking about teaching and learning.
- Scenario-Based Learning: Practical examples and case studies to simulate real teaching contexts.
- Flexible Study: Self-paced modules (30 days) allow candidates to balance preparation with other commitments.
- Theory-to-Practice Integration: Concepts are linked to practical teaching strategies to prepare candidates for CELTA’s teaching practice component.
