You are an intern in a secret non-government organization. The organization’s objective is to detect and eliminate the threats to human survival on Earth. It turns out that your teacher is also its member and he will mentor you both in English (his cover is an English teacher) and in the first steps within the organization. Together you get a new case under the code name Hamster case. 

By the end of this module, you will
- revise modal verbs and modal phrases and practise using them;
- use some phrases with dependent prepositions;
- present a picture story.

You are awakened by the unexpected phone call from Brooks. The Agent provides instructions and asks not to trust anyone at Skylarks. He also promises to send details in a letter. You successfully (or not so much) reach Wales. But the agent has already started testing his theory and suddenly it is confirmed. 
The secret lab with tests on hamsters is found. Now you need to get inside the lab and help Brooks collect information. Doing the operation without the risk is impossible but it was not for nothing. You overhear an important conversation that partly reveals what’s been going on. Now, the most important thing is to transmit valuable information to the mentor and get out of the lab undetected. 

By the end of this module, you will

- express emotional reactions and apply them describing the dishes;
- prepare a speech using a mind map.

You have to find the list of guests, neutralize one of them and get to the meeting at Covent Garden. You hack the opera’s website and with the list of operations you find out that it is supposed to be visited by the famous oil businessman and his wife. He has been on Skylarks watch for quite some time so you have his profile. 
You learn from his profile that he is preparing for his son’s wedding and is waiting for the chef from France. Your chance is to get to the villa disguised as this chef...

By the end of this module, you will

- learn how to make small talk. 

You come to the opera and look for the people connected to the professor. You overhear the conversations of the guests and look for the clues. You know some of them based on the notes sent by Skylarks beforehand, but most of them you don’t recognize. You should learn to have small talk and understand in which box the professor will listen to the opera. You should put a bug into the box to learn more about the Restart project and, what’s most important, to find out the identity of the professor.

- apply new words and phrases when describing a situation;
- present the story that happened in the past. 

You and the mentor look for ways to figure out what happened to Brooks. It turned out he had left a clue for them - a message in the notes on his phone. In this message he asks not to spend time looking for him but instead to continue the operation with the help of his friend. What is known about the friend is that he is a former Skylark and worked in the American department.
You go to the village Pease Pottage, specifically into the cricket club where Brooks’s friend is a member. Finding this club is not easy, especially without the support of Skylarks analytics. There you use your small talk skills to find the man you need. Mister Smith agrees to help and send a profile of the professor. All that is left is to study it and not to miss important details. At this moment you receive a message from the General. He requests a report and asks you to come to the main office.

By the end of this module, you will
- practise understanding connected speech and its peculiar features, reduction in particular;
- develop your listening for gist skills;
- learn how to apologise. 

Now organization needs to focus entirely on finding the agent while there’s even a slight chance of finding him alive. Worried about your safety - they cannot let two talented agents get lost - you are suspended from the case for a while and are restricted from leaving the country. You try to go back to daily life and take a break from spy activity. You are only a tech intern, after all. But suddenly, one of Telegram channels publishes content that needs to be dealt with, complaints should be resolved, users’ requests should be answered. While working with the channel’s content and interns’ complaints, a secret message is decrypted: ‘Country - China, Place - The Old palace, Event - the ball’. However, we cannot understand what it means. There is no time to think through as you were contacted by the American agent. Andy Gate was detected on Procida island in Italy. You have to go there immediately. It seems like agent Brooks is still alive but not for long.

The professor spends too much time on telling his plan and they need to leave to get to the ball on time. There is no time to get rid of you, so they decide to leave you and other hotel guests to die by planting the bomb that will unleash the virus...
